Product Information

This Game Boy Color title is the first of several releases based on the computer animated movie Shrek. Shrek: Fairy Tales FreakDown leaves the storytelling to the feature film, as gameplay involves a series of one-on-one battles with nine characters from the movie. Six characters are immediately playable, with the remaining three becoming available after you defeat them. Each character has a fighting style and special moves appropriate to his or her personality. Shrek also features three difficulty levels and a separate training mode allowing players to learn the controls and develop their skills.

    Decent Shrek Fighting Game

    This game is a good fighting style game. In the game you battle one-on-one with Shrek characters to unlock new characters and abilities. To start out you can be several characters including Shrek and Fiona. There are three difficulty levels to try. The game offers playing experiences from not too hard to somewhat challenging making it appeal to both beginner and experienced gamers. The graphics are simplistic due to being a somewhat old game and it is very repetitive making it easy to get bored of, but if you like the movie and fighting games you should enjoy this game.

    Shrek is life. Shrek is love. Very bad game.

    Shrek is life. Shrek is love. The game is crap. Absolutely horrible. But it's hilarious. The music is terrible. It's a fighting game... The game only lasts about 8 stages and you win. But buy it because it's hilariously bad. It will give you a good laugh. Oh god it's terrible. Definitely one of the worst games for the Game Boy hands down.

    This game was used, and in good shape. It is pretty hard for my 8 yr old, and she has gotten pretty good at games. What she could play she seemed to like though.
