Based on the movie series starring Bruce Campbell, Evil Dead: Hail to the King features a mix of action, puzzles, and suspense. Set eight years after the third film, you are Ash, who is being drawn back to the cabin in the woods. So grab your boomstick (shotgun) and chainsaw because it is time to save the world again from the forces of evil. Gameplay allows Ash to attack separately with weapons in both his left and right hands. There are over 20 enemies to combat in a variety of dark settings such as the cabin, cellar, and bridge. Bruce Campbell also lends his voice to the game for some humorous one-liners.

Took eons to ship out, which I can accept that, but idk what this seller was thinking but they put a loose disc just unprotected in a bubble mailer, leading to the outer edge of the disc has about a 2 inch crack cause the envelope got flexed, I paid 13 bucks not even bothering with a refund, and no I did not even give the seller opportunity to fix it because they should have known better I’m not giving a mistake that ignorant or lazy a second chance period

Need the manual more.
I'm a Evil Dead fan and remember that the game has a weird control setup so the moving control is the as PS1 Resident Evil games. But when it comes to using weapons, opening doors, and picking up items is where the controls are fully weird and confusing. It's not like most games where the (X) button is your common alone action button for picking items and opening doors but in this game you have to be in the right spot then push another button before using the action. Great value for a great classic.
This game is a classic for me. A must have for any survival horror collection. It was a little unpolished and the controls feel clunky but I think it holds on it's own very well. Though it has obvious tie ins with the movie it's its own story.

a must if you're into the Evil Dead click
Firstly, this game didn't play in my PS2 original console so had to try it in the newer version of the PS2 (the slimline version) and it did read it properly, so if you're interested in getting this game, make sure you have (or have use of) a newer version of the PS2. I don't yet have the PS3 so don't know whether it works on it or not, but hope to get one soon and give it a try. Secondly, this game is mature rated (blood, guts, gore and violence) so if you don't like that type of game then this one is not for you. I personaly love the blood, guts and gore ;) The game play and graphics are true to the original PS1 games, so they are kind of mediocre to todays standard of graphics, but it is in the fun to play catagory. I also have the XBox Evil Dead Regeneration and Evil Dead Fistfull ...
