Okay hooked again
I got turned onto this series by a friend at work and after receiving the 2 seasons, I am hooked. I am fascinated by how Tatiana Mislay makes each character so distinctive and different. Quite an acting coup and her supporting cast are terrific too. Interesting story lines and keeps you wondering. There is truly something for everyone and it goes from action to comedy to serious while dealing with relationships, straight and gay and parent child issue to boot. One of the best AHS
What can I say, it's definitely great for binge watching and the entire season stays true to AHS's genre. It's a mix of witches, voodoo, over the top religious zealot's, and throw in a zombie night with curses that last for centuries. If you like any of these topics, you'll appreciate Coven AHS!

Shocked that I enjoyed this season as much as I did.
I purchased this for my son, as he is an avid American Horror Story fan. The DVD was as described by the seller, was in good shape (except the case was broken during shipping as the broken pieces were inside the envelope). The Coven is a good season of American Horror Story, it has an exciting storyline that keeps you interested and wanting to watch more. It has twist and turns you are not expecting and keeps you wondering what they are up to next. I, on the other hand am not an American Horror Story fan but I did watch this whole season with him and I was shocked at how much I enjoyed watching it. I purchased this for my son, as he is an avid American Horror Story fan. Not as scary as Seasons 1 & 2, but still entertaining.
COVEN was very good, but Seasons 1 & 2 of AMERICAN HORROR STORY set the bar so high that Season 3 paled a bit by comparison. The first two seasons were creepy, with genuinely scary moments. The semi-explicit sex was often erotic and always necessary to the plot. In Season 3, the material was not presented seriously. There were so many snarky wisecracks and joking pop-culture references that I felt like I was watching a comedy or a soap opera. It was still entertaining, but never chilling, even when it should have been (for example, scenes of blood and torture). The semi-explicit sex scenes weren't romantic, and were often perverted (mother-son incest; hospital sex with a comatose guy). While the sex scenes were a bit shocking, I would have preferred a horror series to shock me in ...
