Class Remaster of the original soundtrack album, plus one bonus CD of unreleased material "From The Vaults" and one CD of single edits and B-Sides which is essential listening for any Prince fan, plus an excellent concert from the "Purple Rain" tour, only available before on VHS, great picture and stunning sound. Well recommended.
Ordered from a company based in Ireland at an absolute barging price for 3 cds and a dvd. The album it’s self is a modern classic with additional unrealeased tracks that don’t disappoint with the accompanying brides from singles released.
The only disappointment if any is it would have been nice if the quality and sound with the live dvd had been upgraded and remastered into HD rather than being taken straight from the vhs video master tape, still okay but think they missed a track to make it a full 5 star package. Saying that I would fully recommend this to any new or old Prince fans.
I am a huge fan of prince but have found it difficult to get hold of his extended mixes ON CD, so was delighted to find that the record company have included a lot of them on this deluxe version of Purple Rain, about time. BRILLIANT!
