Amazing game
It is a great game with a lot of good aspects. The graphics may be similar to a PS3 game (because it is cross-platform), but the game lasts 100 hours, has flashy and cool-looking JRPG system and allows the player to really think about how to use their time. The great funky + J-Pop music further adds on to the feeling when in combat. The characters are also really amazing to be with and the confidant system is worth praising. This is a game which will amaze you- JRPG fan or not.It is a great game with a lot of good aspects. Worthy of the title “game of the year”
Without a doubt, this is one of the greatest JRPGs to be released this generation. While the gameplay affords the player a lot of freedoms, it maintains it’s pace by heavily controlling the passage of time (as it follows one academic year of the protagonists’ school career). The battle mechanic harks back to the days turn-based systems such as final fantasy 3-13 (having never played the original and second instalments), and is a smorgasbord of tactics and lucky escapes. The narrative and social-linking is extremely interesting and slow (in a good way) as it demands the player engages with the story and, prioritising certain relationships, builds a strong social circle of characters that eventually coalesce to take on a series of “bad guys”. This is to settle the player into the various mechanisms within the game, so heed the loading screen and “take your time”. Personally, I would give this game a 98%, as perfection is completely unattainable. However, this game comes damn close. My PS4 hasn’t been on this much in years.

Just coming onto my mum's acct to say how good this game is. I have always been your typical football/Star Wars/COD fan but recently I started watching and playing things with deep and interesting stories such as teen dramas and games like Life is Strange. Basically this game has an amazing story and lovable characters who are relatable to teens/young adults like myself. It is my first ever JRPG and anime experience btw (I have never gotten into watching anime) and it is perfection honestly. I am 9 hrs 30 mins into the game and have almost finished the first part of the story and it's been 10/10 all the way through so far. Just don't get this game if you have an uncontrollable video game addiction because this game will literally do what it says on the tin and take your heart - you will ... Persona 5 is a fantastic game. The story is compelling and the graphics are in the classic JRPG style. The cut scenes are brilliantly animated and the game will take you at least 80 hours to complete the main story and over 100 hours if you complete all side quests. I cannot recommend Persona 5 enough.
