Wasn’t sure this would be as good as my older stainless steel version which has been discontinued, but it exceeded my expectations. It’s really sturdy, the base is improved in that its heavier, and has a “bowl” the kettle sits in making it really stable. It’s got a metallic finish, not plasticky at all, really hard wearing. The controls are simple and easy to use, and the lid is even better than my previous AEG model, as it has a big button that flips the lid open really fast. Looks great too!
