Good smell ( after the dogs have been washed). Cleans the muck off and leaves the coat shiny. The shampoo is very thick, as it comes out of the 5L container you can't really use it neat. We have taken to making up a litre bottle so that it is always ready. We have two dogs that are attracted to 'smelly' things and washing them twice a week is not uncommon. On that basis we reckon this container will last several months and that makes it good value.
