“Eternal Darkness: Sanity's Requiem” for Nintendo GameCube is an action-adventure video game with elements of psychological and horror mixed in. This Nintendo GameCube Game takes players through a mysterious storyline that revolves around a mansion in Rhode Island where a book known as “The Tome of Eternal Darkness” was discovered. “Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem” allows gamers to control over 12 different characters as they travel back and forth through time to discover the clues hidden within the newly discovered book. This Nintendo GameCube Game has three different possible play modes. At the beginning of this “Eternal Darkness”, players can choose one of three different essences their character will play with throughout the game. The essence that is chosen will determine game play, storyline, and magical abilities the characters have throughout the entire “Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem” game. Players can go back and play three different versions of the game. “Eternal Darkness: Sanity’s Requiem” has a unique sanity meter that is used to determine progress throughout the game. Each time a player fails to destroy a monster or alien in “Eternal Darkness", the character’s sanity level decreases a little bit.

Your sanity will never come back
I had a nostalgia hunger so I had to get this game. It is the best horror game in gamecube. Seven years ago I sold my gamecube because I needed money for the wii. Whit it I sold lot of my games including this and metal gear solid twin snakes (btw excellent game). Now I have started to desire playing them again and I started to look for them. That is how I got to this situation.

Brilliant product with outstanding value
A very good game, the rumour were true, this game does mess with your head. Probably one of the best games made by silicon knights and probably one of the best games on the nintendo gamecube.

Essential for any Gamecube fan
Fantastic back in the day and still is 10 years later. Hasnt aged all that well and combat can be awkward sometimes but that doesn't take away from the game
