Spice World has you directing the spirited, girl-powered pop group in a custom music video. Starring Chibi versions of all five members of the U.K. band, Spice World's gameplay is divided into four phases. In the mixing room, you'll tweak abbreviated versions of the following five songs: "Wannabe," "Move Over," "Spice Up Your Life," "Say You'll Be There," and "Who Do You Think You Are?" Dance practice has you mastering 11 moves by following the commands given by an instructor, while "dance record" lets you create your own custom routine for each girl. After you've settled on the routines and song, you can then slip behind the lens to view the performance. Swivel the camera to focus on the singing star of your choice during the show. Also included on disc are video interviews of band members.

Spice World--A Little Spice to your Life...
Okay so this game came out in 1998 and so I was really young and didn't know what a "good" game was. Don't hate. Anywho, the main reason I decided to buy this game was because I had it as a child and lost it so this is my way of reliving my childhood so to speak. The graphics aren't that great but then again, it did come out in 1998. The game is very simple and offers alot of freedom when it comes to choosing which Spice Girl you want to play as well as mixing songs. It's good to play as a different Spice Girl each time because they all have a couple of different dance moves and style. In the game, there are about 5 places to go and 4 of them has to go in order so those are like your "levels". the 5th place to go that doesn't require an order of things to happen is the Spice Network. You get to see footage of the Spice Girls and some of their interviews. This is one of the coolest features of the game as you may not see this anywhere else. One thing that is lacking is the loading time in and out of each place and the first stage can be annoying since you have to get all, if not the majority, of the controls right. This part is kinda like Dance Dance Revolution since you are just mimicking what is coming up on your screen. The only bad thing is that sometimes it does not register that you pushed a button, thus annoying the hell out of you because you can't go to the next level without completing this level perfectly. Also, if you are failing epicly at this simple game, hearing the same voice voice say the same thing over and over will make you want to throw your controller at your Spice Girl. Don't do this as it may result you breaking your 22" (or bigger) screen. Overall, this game isn't "too" bad and you should be a fan of the Spice Girls to fully enjoy this, otherwise, it will be one of the worst games to ever land in your PS1 or PS2. Happy Gaming! ;D
