Cartridge scam!
The whole Epson cartridge range seems to be some sort of scam. Look at the huge number of different cartridges required for the Epson range of printers. Superficially, the cartridges from my previous Epson printer looked identical to the ones required for the new printer, yet they are deliberately designed not to fit. This means that the stock of spare cartridges I had became totally useless. The OE cartridges supplied with the new printer couldn't even last for one side of A4. Even worse, the new cartridges cost £40 and, as yet, there are no compatible copy replacements on the market. The whole Epson cartridge range seems to be some sort of scam.
