The man who haunted himself was released in 1970,but failed to achieve much success which is a shame as the film is truly remarkable! Roger Moore had not long finished making The Saint before making this film and I have to say that his performance in the film is flawless. I recommend this film and I think many will be surprised by just how good the film really is!
Great clear sound and picture, things have come a long way from vhs, great performance from Roger moore and scenery of london.
I'd rate this as good-very good. This 1971 movie gives Roger Moore the chance to show that he can act. This isn't an action movie but a good psychological story. Is the main character going mad, is it a devious plot or... Starting with a car crash that puts Roger Moore's character in hospital this is compentely directed by Basil Dearden who spookily enough died shortly after on the same stretch of road as in the film. Familar faces from the 60s and 70s TV and film give him good support. No guns, fancy gadgets this IS definately worth watching as it comes to a great climax.
A great film what more can I say if you like Roger then you will like this, fast pace on the edge of your seat with plenty of twist well worth viewing
