Excellent - this Excel 254mm/1800w portable table saw is fantastic value & quality for money. Good design (takes queues from the well known brands and adds that type of feature at a lower cost, cast alloy table, rack and pinion fence, simple adjustable locking mechanism, metal throat plate). Saw is loud (just like my old table saw), and as noisy as I expected having a brushed electric motor. Even comes with a spare set of motor brushes.

Definitely happy with the overall quality of this saw. Good size and value for the money. Fits within my very small workshop although I did need to extend my work bench with a lower bench to locate the saw. Mitre gauge not so good and will have to be upgraded later. Fence also needed some “finagling” to get it square. Only down side is it’s a little noisy

An excellent table saw.
Sadly the saw is louder than my previous table saws but it is more precise in its settings and I didn’t need to make any adjustments to it prior to its first use. I do think that the instruction manual could be more precise in the setting up instructions and the photographs could be clearer. Having said that I do think the saw is very good value for the price and so far I am very pleased with it. Also it is well designed and I can’t fault the construction of it. I'm loving this saw so far - I've always...
I'm loving this saw so far - I've always bought old saws in the past because it was all I could really afford, but this one is just better in every way - the fence has a really nice motion and the locking lever keeps everything in place really well, the raise & lower of the blade is super smooth. At first I found it a bit odd that it didn't have a twisting mechanism for the angle of the blade, but actually I've managed to be way more accurate with this than my previous saws that had that.I'm loving this saw so far - I've always bought old saws in the past because it was all I could really afford, but this one is just better in every way - the fence has a really nice motion and the locking lever keeps everything in place really well, the raise & lower of the blade is super smooth. Great little saw
Quite impressed with this saw. We also have a larger 12" site saw but needed something more transportable for smaller jobs. It light enough for one person to manage. Tales abit of getting used to especially the cutting guide bit it works well. The motor sounds unrefined compared to our EB saw but at this price point it really is ok. The transparent shields either side of the blades are pretty useless and we removed those...the top protector is more than adequate and imo safer as it improves visibility. Screwing to a bench is abit fiddly and we used a side drill...a few lugs on the bottom of the frame would have been a good idea. All in all, an excellent little saw.Quite impressed with this saw. Versatile well made table saw.
A versatile and attractive table saw which is straightforward to assemble with easy to use accessories which are stored on the saw and readily available to the user and therefore difficult to lose. Not heavy to lift and carry and easy to transport in the boot of the car. Mine fits well onto a table made from a worktop in my garage. It is also really good value for money.
