Bright like the surface of the sun.
I would give this an 9/10 and thats only down to the fact that I have sausage fingers and the switch is a little small as most torches of this size. It also gets extremely hot on turbo mode which I tend to use the most, so the stated lumens are a little misleading as its only that bright for a short time. (Normally its only incredibly bright and not welding flash bright lol) The lamp gets very hot, I would say enough to cause damage to unprotected skin or gear so lockout mode is very useful but a little finnicky. Swings and roundabouts really. Its very well made and does its job superbly. I use this everyday and hardly notice its there until I need it. I would definately recommend this for EDC and general use but like most of these its not an 'instant on' option that would be suitable ...
