It features a swiss 17-jewel movement that runs well. It probably needs a slight adjustment, as it appears to lose a minute or two in a day. Like most all mechanical movements, they seem to slow down toward the end of their winding cycle, so if you wind it up a couple times a day it seems to help a lot and it is fairly reliable. It's always cool to find old watches that run and still look ok. The dial has some staining, which is rather typical for watches from this era. This has a good amount of real 10K gold in this watch in the gold filled band and the watch case itself. It is marked 10K Gold filled. It's just a neat old wrist watch from a bygone era-- there is a date etched in the case, February 1946. These old classic masterpiece swiss movement watches are getting scarcer and scarcer, as many of them are getting scrapped for the significant gold content in them. This watch is actually a scarce one- try finding another!”
