Not what you're hoping for... like budget washing up liquid.
This product is 'fine'. If you've got rotten wood it will (at quite a hefty price) turn it from spongey, rotten wood to something a tiny bit firmer. Yes it is firmer, granted, but it doesn't set 'hard' like you are hoping. The fact that it isn't '2-part' is the clue - it isn't wood-penetrating epoxy which is what you really want. The latter is more expensive but actually sets hard. Conclusion - this is an easy and quick semi-fix for rotten wood and better than not using it. My impression of it: 'Meh.."This product is 'fine'. Could it be a little more jelly-like?
It does what it says on the tin! My only 'but' is that it is extremely fluid and is therefore very difficult to place if the area to be treated is 'upwards' if you see what I mean. Downwards and straight ahead are fine. It remains to be seen long term whether it works, but I'm trusting the manufacturer on that one!

Stop The Rot and Repair Woodwork
Normally, you would cut out the rotton wood area and replace it with new wood. For external woodwork this often means that you will back in 1-2 years to cut even more out. The Wood hardener is used after the worst of the rot has been removed and it produces a hard, rot-free base on to which you can add filler or cut in new wood for an enduring repair.
