Received as described. Sample is very heavy, as real and lab created sapphires are. Did a scratch test with quartz, which is 7 out of 10, and it does not scratch, so I know it has a hardness of at least more than 7. These might be real sapphires, but lab-created, since the stone translucency and color consistency is kind of too perfect to be a natural stone. But that is ok; lab created sapphires r still real sapphires & as hard. In a few days I can also do a test using natural topaz, 8
