What a body!!!
What a camera! Exceptional build quality with features packed into it's case. NOT for the unitiated but for any photographer with a good basic knowledge, it's THE solution for not a lot of money. 13mpixels, that's still a lot of pixels on one photo ( who needs bigger than A2 normally?) . Dx not Full Frame but a wide selection of first rate lenses available either new or used. It weighs, nearly 2 Kg with lens and battery, but that is the price of a pro body. I recommend!!!What a camera! Exceptional build quality with features packed into it's case. The digital bargain of the century - pro camera for entry level money
After over 30 years of slr photography, I decided it was time to go digital. After weeks of researching I decided to stay with Nikon. I chose the D2xs because it is a professional camera at an amateur price. Solid construction (not the cheap plasticky feel of most cameras). Fantastic versatility and you can use all your old Nikon lenses that you have collected over the years. For just 12 megapixels the quality is outstanding. Once I get 'fully' into digital, I will upgrade to the full frame d3.After over 30 years of slr photography, I decided it was time to go digital.
