    dented housing

    This product must have been dropped from a considerable distance. After opening the box, the Styrofoam insert was in pieces, the parts bag was open with loose parts inside box, and the disposal itself had a very large dent on the bottom edge. The dent is so deep that I am surprised that it actually works, but it does. However, it was supposed to be a new item and not a damaged item.

    Badger 1

    I replaced my disposer with the same model that lasted about 20 years. Installation was easy as I used the old mounting. It's not especially quiet but seems normal for a unit in that price range. I don't find it offensive at all. Hopefully this one will last another 20 years.

    Economical way to achieve the goal.

    Does a good job for soft disposals to work 30 seconds once or twice a day. Just replaced previous one after 15 years of service.
