USPS decided this needed to make vacation trips up the west coast and I informed the seller more out of humor than anger. He responded in a timely fashion and made sure to check eBay and their policies on late deliveries so he was covered.
Didn’t seem to care if I got the package or not, as long as they were covered.

The buyer definitely had concerns about the route their shipment took during the shipping process which I informed them that there's no reason for concern as long as the shipment isn't late and delivered on time. The buyers behavior is highly questionable because their shipment was delivered on time from the confirmation link provided by USPS and I had an ebay representative double check the delivery confirmation as well and they confirmed this buyers shipment arrived on time.
