The seller give an ean which turns out to be invalid, very suspicious. Good item. Works as expected.
This is the older (black) packaging for the device, but the contents are still current -- the firmware automatically updates during the week to the current level. They sensors work fine. Happy with the purchase for the price paid.

Good Hardware let down by software
This is great hardware and works every time but is let down by the software. Unfortunately the automatic geolocation function that is available for the heating is not usable with the Hive motion or door/window open detector hardware. This means if you want intruder protection you have to set it up every time you leave/return home - which is a pain to remember.

They do what you want a motion sensor to do. But For a few pounds more go Philips Hue, so much more versatile But great for turning on my hue lights as hive hub is connected to hue hub.

Great little sensor, I have a few of these now and they just work, my Hive finds them straight away and you can then play with it, set up times when it’s on and actions such as alerts or turning on my Hive lights. Only issue is you get a bit paranoid, put one in the garage and spiders can set them off so an alert at 2 in the morning isn’t funny 😬
