The item had a large crack running across the whole length of the decorative panel. The seller knew it was there but didn't mention it on the advert. Seller not there when I picked it up. I drove 3 hours to pick up item and when we got home with the item I contacted seller, I didn't want any money back just to give my feedback for his future listing and his obligations to list defects so the buyer can make their own mind up. He was defensive and dismissive. Wouldn't use again.

This feedback is unfair. The "crack" to which the buyer refers is a separation of two oak planks in an antique piece which is 150 years old. Such "defects" if that's how you view them are commonplace in old oak. It was clearly visible in the photos accompanying the listing and the buyer could see it when they collected. I gave advice on how to disguise it if required and offered a full refund, which was refused. I had already discounted the item by 40%. My offer of a refund still stands.
