Delicious food and supporting Grenfell
I bought the book to support the project, and wasn't sure how complicated the recipes would be. Not being someone who wants to devote loads of time to cooking, I tend to go for recipes with not too many ingredients, that are easy to cook and that taste good. I like ethnic food and spices. The book is beautifully produced, inspiring to read, has wonderful photographs of the women cooking together, and a real sense of community and harmony. The photographs of the food look amazing too. I haven't had the book long so have only made two or three recipes, but all of them suit my criteria - not too complicated, not too many ingredients - and the meals I've made so far have lived up to the pictures - they are really delicious.
