This is an outstanding seller to deal with. Fair prices that are more than reasonable in this economy. The product is in better condition than described, a true value for my money. Packaged and shipped well shows seller has concern for the products he sells to arrive in excellent condition. The seller is friendly and communicates timely with his customers. I highly recommend this seller and would do business again anytime. Thank you.

Item is complete and 100% as described. Shipping was reasonable and item packaged well and arrived 100% intact though-out the shipping process. I would purchase from this seller again! Note: My 3 star rating for seller communications is due to the fact the seller and I did not communicate outside the simple transaction. I am sure that the seller would communicate well if the need existed. The "3 Star" rating on communication in no way applies to the seller. It represents a "Null" value.

Great price on a fantastic Captain America Movie Blu-ray/DVD Combo pack. It arrived very quickly and was exactly as described. However the Blu-Ray turned-out to be defective and the Seller refunded my purchase price immediately. No questions asked, Excellent Vendor! I would definitely buy from them again.

  • The music of that era was most enjoyable, significant, and important !

I teach a course called "War and Society in the 20th Century" which essentially focuses on the sociological aspects of World Wars I and II. The second half of the course focuses on Ken Burn's superb film, "The War". The music in the sound track was extremely significant and important ... not only to get a sense of the times, but also brought back to me much of the music that I still take great delight in listening to. "The War" was something that I experienced from the age of 6 to the age of ten involving so many members of my family and neighbors. I later served in the US Army in Korea. I was extremely delighted both on personal note, but also to share the experience with a much younger generation who had the opportunity to understand the political, economic, cultural, as well as the ...

  • A deeply moving tribute to the millions who fell victim to man's most grisly activity.

Only someone with Wynton Marsalis' reputation could create a film score like this, and arrange artistes of such stellar reputation as those in this compilation to agree to appearing in concert with each other. Who else could pull off such a masterstroke as Nora Jones' American hymn followed by The Death of Falstaff and make them relate to 'The War' in such a moving way. I think I've listened to this CD five times since receiving it four days ago. Having combined Music and Drama all my professional life as a performer/teacher I found this collection particularly evocative and inspirational. Thanks!

  • Classic Era of Music

The songs on this compilation are reminiscent of the sophisticated sound that pre-dated the earliest rock and roll. As such, the listening experience is thoroughly relaxing; the music itself, with strong ties to jazz, is not sparse but is rich and detailed. The collection fits very well with popular imagery of World War II, as in it is what you would expect to hear, just as if you were watching a film on the Vietnam conflict and heard Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Fortunate Son" or Buffalo Springfield's "For What It's Worth".

  • American Anthem, a Haunting Theme

This CD is worth the price for the American Anthem theme song from the documentary. Performed by Norah Jones, it really hits home when you take the lyrics to heart. I dare you to listen without a tear in your eye. The rest of the CD contains music from the Forties used to set the tone of Ken Burns' documentary of the times and lives of WWII veterans. Enjoy!

  • Good people!
