DOOM! That classic game that you can play anywhere!
We all grew up with Doom, a classic game indeed.. We all hear the tales of how some guy got a printer to play doom, or an ATM.. Well, let me tell you right now that that's simply not true, because I tried to install this on my 1986 Casio Calculator watch and I can tell you it's not working. At ALL! It turns out the only place I can install it is on one of these newfangled Xbox One's.. And when I tried that it turns out I would have been quicker walking across the Sahara, as it needed a 58 gigalabyte 'update'... That's not my definition of an update.. Awesome Next Gen Retro Romp
This game brings me back to the good old days of gaming, just tearing up bad guys (in this case quite literally), running around super fast and carrying every weapon under the sun. The story is perfectly adequate but it's all about going to hell and destroying your enemies, and it doesn't shy away from what it truly is: an arcade shooter. It seems to have real heart and character, like the developers understand what we've all missed for the last decade. If only it were a true old school experience and didn't have to update before playing. That's my only gripe with this game, and it's totally gone as soon as you start playing and the heavy metal kicks in.This game brings me back to the good old days of gaming, just tearing up bad guys (in this case quite literally), running around super fast and carrying every weapon under the sun.
