It heats quickly but does not have any material settings therefore it sticks to delicate clothes even when set at low temperatures. It doesn't glide on clothes like other soleplate but need lot of effort to use. I ended up getting pain in my elbow using it

Brilliant Iron
This iron is fantastic and has really helped me get through so much ironing. I’m disabled and have trouble lifting and holding heavy items and even light items for long periods of time. This iron however is so lightweight due to the water all being held in the tank itself. It’s so easy to use with 3 different levels of steam which is separate to the to the controls for temperature. The steam dial is on the steam generator tank. This I found to be super helpful. It’s also so easy to switch temperature for different fabrics on the top where you would usually find temperature dials in irons. I read one review which I thought was very unfair as it shows clearly what the iron is before purchase. It doesn’t fit with the review I read. You just simply pull out the water tank as if you were filling it And then turn the yellow dial and remove the filter, rinse it out and pop it back. It will help you get the most out of your iron without ever worrying about limescale. Last but not least, as with some generator irons, you can just keep filling this one as you go without having to let it cool down. Just pull the tank, fill through the grill that you will see on top of the tank, push the tank back into place and off you go. Steam Iron heaven. As an avid quilter and patchworker, I love the fact that I can iron through several layers of hard to press cottons, so less time having to put pressure on my body with my medical conditions and less time having to keep an iron plugged in. Overall, I am super impressed with this iron and I am very glad I purchased this model. I hope this review helps anyone considering purchasing one.
