I bought an item. No other bidders so I won it for 99p plus £5 p&p. The order was cancelled by the seller, the reason he gave me was that it was going to cost too much to post. I was not given the opportunity to give a further contribution to the postage cost. OK I understand; but then I found out that the reason given to ebay for the cancellation was that 'the buyer (myself) requested a cancellation'. This is not true and makes me appear to be an unreliable buyer.

Im really dissapointed that you didnt reach out to try and resolve this. I would have been happy for you have this item for free but i gave you a full refund the same day. Im not sure what more i could have done for you other than paid you money and given you the item.
