I love the soundtrack
SquareSoft has always had a sure-fire hit when releasing any of their Final Fantasy titles, and Final Fantasy VIII should be no exception. The basis of a good RPG (role-playing game) has always been the story; spectacular graphics are secondary. Final Fantasy VIII's involved and interesting story line is filled with great twists, well-developed characters, suspense, and romance. As an added bonus, the graphics are beautiful. Everything--from the low-lit jazz club to the steam-filled railroad tunnels--is gorgeous and perfectly sets the mood and tone of a scene.SquareSoft has always had a sure-fire hit when releasing any of their Final Fantasy titles, and Final Fantasy VIII should be no exception. FF VIII Orchestral CD (Soundtrack)
Wow. This CD is really amazing. When I first put it into my stereo deck, I felt the true essence of the Final Fantasy series. The sounds really capitalize on the premise of the games and are great additions to any collections. I promise you will be pleased with this purchase. Final Fantasy 8 is already a great game with a killer score, but you can really feel the music come to life with this soundtrack (it is very extensive with nearly all major songs).
