Studienarbeit aus dem Jahr 2019 im Fachbereich Soziologie - Individuum, Gruppe, Gesellschaft, Note: 1,0, Ruhr-Universitat Bochum, Veranstaltung: Soziologie und empirische Sozialforschung, Sprache: Deutsch, Abstract: In dieser Ausarbeitung soll explorativ die Wirkung von Selbstverletzungsnarben im Kontext sozialer Interaktionen verfolgt beziehungsweise nach einer literaturtheoretischen Auseinandersetzung mit der Narbe als 'Reminder', Wegweiser und Stigmasymbol das methodische Vorgehen beziehungsweise Forschungsdesign zu der Frage skizziert werden, inwieweit durch nichtsuizidales selbstverletzendes Verhalten entstandene Narben in privaten und beruflichen sozialen Alltagssituationen aus Sicht von Betroffenen als Stigmasymbol empfunden werden und wie sich das Vorhandensein dieser Narben und gegebenenfalls stattfindende (Selbst-)Stigmatisierungsprozesse auf das Erleben und Handeln der Betroffenen in sozialen Interaktionen uber die Lebensspanne hinweg auswirken. Es handelt sich um eine literaturtheoretische Ausarbeitung mit skizzenhafter Beschreibung einer fiktiven empirischen Untersuchungsplanung. Die Haut verweist somit auf Vergangenheit und Zukunft. Als Vermittler zwischen Innen und Aussen, von Ich und Umwelt und umgekehrt (Bidlo 2010) beeinflusst sie wesentlich die Wirkung eines Menschen und pragt demzufolge auch dessen Selbstwertgefuhl. Wenn die Haut als identity card (Connor 2001) und (Zeit-)Zeuge gelten kann, inwieweit beeinflussen Selbstverletzungsnarben soziale Interaktionen? Was loesen diese Narben aus, einerseits im Kontext einer Zeit, in der das Bewusstsein fur AEsthetik gescharft ist und das Ideal des makellosen, medial prasentierten Koerper herrscht, andererseits hinsichtlich der Tatsache, dass diese Narben von gewaltvollen Handlungen gegen den Koerper der ausfuhrenden Person zeugen, von Wut, Rage, einem symbolischen Angriff und somit von Ausdrucksformen, welche der Entwicklung zunehmender Affektkontrolle im Zuge des Zivilisationsprozesses diametral entg
