These are counterfeit Elixir strings. An internet search shows that the seal should be raised in the middle, the sachets are also packed differently. But the main giveaway are the strings themselves when strung to the guitar. They do not have the same colour, feel or sound as real Elixirs. The price was very low, so I was suspicious initially. The seller was initially reluctant but eventually gave a full refund.
