    A Compact, Capable & Versatile Little Camera...(that won't break the bank!)

    15/6/2013: I've had mine 10yrs (from new in 2003) & it's been a great little thing! From a macro setting to full zoom it takes some great photos. I've recently posted photos online of close ups of flowers etc & photographer friends have even asked what equipment I used as the shots are so clear & 'professional looking' as they put it. I also uploaded a picture I'd taken onto Twitter, using a setting with a slow shutter speed & maximum zoom, of the International Space Station as it passed overhead. The detail this camera captured was impressive! The comments & compliments were great...again people wanting to know what kit I had used. No kit,just my VERY capable & trusty QV-R40! I love it! For a great little camera for very little money I definitely recommend this one. Compact enough to be ...

    Casio QV-R40

    This is a great little camera (my second) does every thing you need to do with a digital camera. It produces excellent photos because of a great quality lens far superior to some other cameras with more mps. The first QV-R40 I bought cost me £170 you can snap these up on ebay for bargain prices, go for it!

    Casio QV-R40 Digital Camera

    I'm new to the digital camera thing so I didn't want to spend too much at first incase i got it wrong. This little camera is a beauty for the starter. Easy to use with all the bits you need to help you on your way. No I won't be able to get a great close up of my favourite band if i'm right at the back at the festivals but the photos i have taken, indoors, outdoors, daytime, nighttime, at a distance, close up, are of great quality. I'm really glad i bought this.

    Useful point-and-shoot camera

    Small and convenient, quick-starting - ideal to keep in your pocket on holiday - and can be found second-hand at bargain prices. I bought it because I needed a small-lens camera to try digiscoping. On the downside, it eats batteries: non-rechargeables don't work, and I only get 50 shots or so between charges with 2x 2000mAHr batteries (not that it matters; batteries are cheap and 50 shots is more than most people take in a day). You'll also need an SD card, but these are pretty cheap these days too. All in all, a bargain at the £9.50 I paid for it.
