An Interesting Read For The Survivalist, But Not An Essential Reference For The Survival Library.
I'm medically trained by layman's standards (Wilderness, and Remote First Aid, Adult CPR, and Stop The Bleed), and was able to understand most of what the book has to say; the illustrations helped with this fact, and the survivalist may find this an interesting read in that it will illustrate injuries that would likely be faced in a survival situation. The survivalist will be humbled by the fact that there are some injuries best prevented because even the institution doesn't have a way to deal with; for example, laser burns can't be treated; the individual can be expected to treat even less.
