On 14 June, 1919 John Alcock and Arthur Whitten Brown took off from Newfoundland in their open-cockpit Vickers Vimy converted bomber to attempt a non-stop crossing of the Atlantic. Some 16 hours later they landed in Connemara, Ireland, to become national heroes. Here, Brendan Lynch discusses one of the most significant flights in history.

There was a slight stickiness to the figure and one of the fingers was missing on the lightning hand (although it was pictured). Only recommendation I have is to not use an AI generated description and note these flaws personally as it seems disingenuous. That being said, it was a great product for a good price and packaged carefully and with quick shipping. Would buy from again!
