    Typical Milwaukee Excellent Design & Performance

    Cuts through Steel like butter, if you look, replacement blades can be inexpensive, catches most hot chips of steel, heavy well made, nice long cord, Milwaukee cords last a long time without rotting or splitting. All around a great saw for cutting expanded metal, steel plate easily up to 1/4" thick and anything thinner. Guides straight and smooth. The only thing some people might find as a negative is the weight of this saw. It is heavy and Does Not have an Electric Braking system. But since the blade is totally enclosed, when coming off the end of a 4'x8' sheet with your arm extended, if not prepared it will drop on you, so hold tight and hang on. But the blade guard closes quickly preventing any accidents. Personally, as a Metal Worker and Fabricating, I LOVE this saw. I would buy ...

    Awesome steel cutting circular saw!

    I retired from heavy construction and started a new hobby, blacksmithing! I bought this Milwaukee steel cutting circular saw for my projects and am amazed that I am able to make clean cuts through mild steel up to 1½ inch thick. The cuttings collection container (inside side plate) helps in collecting most all of the HOT cutting chips which is pretty handy. What I like about this Saw is it's portable and gives you straight clean cuts., much cleaner than using a Victor wrench (cutting torch). Overall, this Milwaukee steel cutting circular saw is awesome! MILWAUKEE, YA DID GOOD!!!
