    Hot Wheels, by Bob Parker, 1995.

    This book belongs in any hot wheels collectors library. It covers the origins and history of the hot wheels phenomena from 1968 to 1994. It is a good guide to all of the variations found in the production runs of each model. It is richly illustrated with great color photographs and includes a price guide of 1995 values.
