They are ideal for splodging Hammerite, cleaning things down with solvent and, I suspect, ‘stippling’ jobs like fibreglass. I’m not sure they would leave a fine finish on paint (especially modern water-based finishes), but in fairness I haven’t tried that. Generally a good, cheap brush suitable for many applications. I’m very happy with them.

Most of my use for these is garage wok with solvents, degreaders etc not paint so for that they are good value for money. Look and feel like they should be good enough for domestic decoration.
