    Good receiver with great features,

    If like me you want to try out a home theater solution this is a great place to start. The Audyssey room correction is easy and sounds great; it even picked up a phase difference from a speaker with wires reversed. The binding posts are spaced to allow dual banana plugs, and there is a phono input. Small deduction for a remote that feels cheap and has no backlight. Easy to use and sounds great!

    Great 7.2 AV Receiver for a very reasonable price

    The Denon AVR-X1500 has great sound and a lot of connections for your devices. It has 5 HDMI and two RCA composite inputs. It includes a sound calibration microphone and step by step on screen instructions to calibrate the sound in the room. It has 7.2 surround sound, but can be set up for other options including 5.1, 2.1, stereo, etc. You can also manually change the input assignments for the audio and video.

    Great equipment at a great price.

    Phenomenal Sound, super easy setup with the onboard setup assistant. Have had for a few weeks now and I have no complaints. Of note, the unit does produce a lot of heat, you definitely want ventilation around the unit.
