This book was for a book club. I liked the book. Would I read it again? No. It was very thought provoking and increased my awareness of the refugee plight. I didn't care for the way the author presented the characters. There are 3 stories. One chapter would be one character and then the next chapter another character, etc. I finally just read all of the chapters about one character and then moved on to the next character.
