Like a lawnmower for hair
I've been using machines to cut both my facial hair and head for the better part of 20 years now. I've used all sorts of machines from well known and expensive brands to unknown cheap ones, This Remington model is hands down one of the best ones I've ever used. Its design gives me better control over the movement and cutting and its strength... just great! I can go over my entire face & head in 1 go with an occasional second one and can wash the hair off the blades afterwords with no problem. In the 2 years that I've had this machine I've never had any painful experiences where the machine can't cut so it just hurts (we all know that problem, right?). I can't even say that I've been really taken great care of it - oiling-wise, but it still kept on going. Really a great machine overall! The one thing that might not be for everyone is the fact that its lowest length setting isn't the shortest that I've seen. For me it's perfect but for people who are looking for a super close shave this machine might not be the answer. 1 last piece of advice - don't try using it to cut your dog's fair... I've tried that seeing as all dog grooming places were closed because of the virus and that was the one thing that this machine could not withstand and sent me on a quest to buy it againVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Best I have ever seen.
I have been using the previous model of this Reminton for the last 5 years. When the battery finally died this month, I went through some adventure to hunt this one down. Here is the story. The original design (some kind of contour self barber) was sold via sharper image. So I ordered from them again, but man I was so wrong and I was tortured by the mock-up down straight cheap unit they have. Had to give up. Then I did a bit of research, found this newer model. Man it is hard to get one. Official website out of stock, Amazon has it but it cost $300 (might actually worth is.. haha). So I found this one on Ebay. Best $70 spend in my life. It cuts quite evenly, and very very very fast. Took me less 2mins. Deals well with edges. Feels like professional cut. I do keep a very simple hair style, and I have a fairly round (or egg shpaed) head, making the hair cutting so easy. The unit is easy to grip (i have fairly small hand), easy to use and clean. Looks built with quality materials. Powerful motor and nice blade accessory. I only hope I have get my hands on one of these 5-7 years down the road.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Excellent product
Most of these types of shavers are poorly designed and awkward at best. This piece of equipment is compact but has a wide, curved, comfortable cutting edge and slices through hair like butter. It comes with many length guides and is super solid and easy to use. Compact easy to use and reliable.
This trimmer is easy to hold light weight and compact. Because it has a wide cutting head it's fast to do your whole head and comfortable because it's curved like the shap of your head. The blades are amazingly sharp and sharpen themselves as you trim your hair. What could be better. Lightweight with great features
The product is new and all the pieces were included without a box, which was expected so no real problems. The only thing missing was a set of instructions, which is not a big deal but a nice to have. Other than that so far so good, but I've only used once so jury is still out. Remington HC4250 Short Haircut Pro
These are by far the best clippers I have used for cutting my hair. My haircut "Burr" has been the same for 25 years and I've used a ton of different clippers. They have a great design and I really love how fast I can cut my hair. The clippers are as wide as two average sized clippers making for a fast and accurate haircut. I also love how they are designed, making for an easy grip no matter which angle you have to use. I sort of had a beard going on at the time I first used the clippers and that was the fastest facial cut I've ever had. The blade just snaps off by clicking down on a button and simply pulling it off and it quickly snaps right back on making cleaning even faster. They also came with 6 different size guards and a brush and of course the charger and oil. So you don't over charge your clippers there is a light indicator that will go solid when fully charged. I charged the clippers when I first got them and it cut my hair with no noticeable battery loss. You're supposed to get about 40 minutes of battery life but I'll never have to use them that long but the battery seemed to do gr8! So, If you use clippers, or cut your hair short the Remington HC2450 Short Haircut Pro is for you, I promise. I found this clipper easy to use and not a bad haircut on first try. I love the variety of combs included in this set to cut hair at the right length in the right places.
