I found the chips in the wrapping. I think it's incredible that a package so well packed could experience such damage - but there it is. Not to worry - It will work perfectly well for my application and thank you for your persistence at locating this.

I really would have expected better for delicate precision equipment. Unfortunately this resulted in some broken plastic parts, that I had to repair.
