    A fully featured GoTo scope, with simple controls, reasonable portability and good design.

    As a newcomer to astronomy, I bought this on the recommendation of more experienced stargazers and have been very pleased with the performance. The 8" version was beyond my budget but this one doesn't disappoint. It's great value for money when bought used. Mine came with the wifi adapter, carrying case, power pack, eyepiece and filter set and other accessories which are all essential to make the most of it. I use it with an iPad for alignment and control. Simple to use, compact and well designed, this GoTo Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope is very easy to align. it's also simple to dismantle for transportation and quick to re-assemble.

    Slight design error - easily surmountable.

    This is a good scope, takes a bit of setting up - mine kept showing an error message - needed to reseat the plug for the handset. The one thing about it that isn't optimal is the thumbscrews for the star diagonal which hold the eyepiece lenses. Unfortunately they are too small to get any purchase on and so don't grip the star diagonal securely - which then flops around. I've got some butterfly bolts on the way that should cure that problem - just something to look out for.

    Brilliant telescope

    Absolutely chuffed to bits with this telescope. Used to have an Orion 8nch Newtonian telescope which was bloody massive and a right pain to set up. The celestron takes about 10 minutes to align and your ready to go. They’re not cheap but absolutely awesome super happy 👍
