    Great best of buy

    Really nice package of classic Who songs. From the beginning to 1982's its hard LP. Sounds great very clean. Packaging is great. I like the little book of old pictures brings me back to a time when things weren't so complicated. I would recommend this cd to anyone.

    The Who's Best Comp

    As a compilation, this certainly merits 5 stars just on the basis of it's selection-- every major hit and radio staple are here, and no butchered, "single" or "radio edit" abominations of "Who Are You" or "Won't Get Fooled Again", as plagues many of their comps before or after this one. Some might complain about mono versions of the very early cuts, but keep in mind that to many, those versions are highly sought-after, and really take nothing away from the fine material here. Granted, if this is your only Who purchase, you're missing out on experiencing the full glory and power of albums like Tommy, Quadrophenia and Who's Next, and how the cuts extracted from them onto here fit in with those landmark releases. But this still provides a great starting point for newcomers and someone who has ...
