      Bonzo Dog Band original album series box set

      Great album set all 5 Bonzo albums! Give homage to one of the funniest band to ever live. They influenced many of the greats. I whole heartedly recommend this to anyone who loves music.

      The Beatles Loved These Madmen And You Will, Too!

      Astounding entertainment of the highest order. In fairness, all, everyone, is subject for wicked silly fun. Some refined modern sensibilities may be ticked off. A beautiful mix of Spike Jones, Zappa, Monty Python and their own endearing personalities that seem rooted in 20's jazz and completely acid-fried. Mostly unrelentingly and insanely funny. Excellent recording by engineer Gus Dudgeon and much creative and inspired mayhem. I could go on...

      Bonzos are the best Cart

      Most consider the Bonzos a comedy act, along the lines of Monty Python. This of course is all true but far from complete. If you are a Beatles fan and love the McCartney songs from 1966 (Sgt Pepper) on, you will treasure these discs and band. If you are to take the "Memoirs of Billy Shears" seriously, which is obvious, then Vivian Stanshall is Billy Shepherd or the current Paul McCartney. Vivian "does not exist" like the Urban Spaceman sings. Songs like Hello Mabel remind me of You Gave Me the Answer from Venus and Mars.
