    This filter will not fit a 2006 Mercedes SLK 55 AMG, even though listing says it will. They are too long and o ring kit is too large.

    These filters are too long and o ring kit is too large. If you on a 2006 Mercedes SLK55 AMG, than you MUST order the VERY specific Mercedes part number A 000 180 28 09 Save yourself time and headache by ordering this the 1st time, it took me 4 tries to find the correct filter.

    competatively priced

    this is a somewhat unusual oil filter in that it isn't the usual paper element variety. it is made of fleece and is the OEM recommended product for many mercedes (and i'm sure other) vehicles. in my case the application is for a 2005 chrysler crossfire srt6 which was build tin germany and is pretty much all SLK kompressor underneath.
