Not for a Jack Russell or similar temperament. It arrived promply after purchase. The drrawings, supposed to help you were clearly done by a non dog owner! Not very clear. i tried it for size on my dog and quickly saw he rated it as "chewable" not its purpose.. I have measured it against the spare collar iIhave in front of me, i will now sew it inside this collar and let you know the results. I run a Rescue, HOTS Dobermann Dog Rescue, whereby all dogs that come into my care are fostered and never kennelled. Dogs come to me from all walks of life, from the UK and Europe, in various conditions...The Adaptil Appeasing Stress Reducing Pheromone Collar is an essential part of my kit. I have used it on many dogs and have experienced the positive, calming results. Although I do rescue varieties of breeds, I specialise in Dobermann which are renowned for separation issues and are easily stressed...these collars have made many dogs change in circumstances a much more pleasant journey...I always have and keep a couple in my cupboard...I never know when or who my next visitor may arrive...but I am always prepared to help them! Very pleased with this product and seems to have calmed my anxious dog prior to Bonfire night. My only niggle is that the small collar was too small for my dog but the large is too big. Very pleased with the results and my dog gaining confidence with noise.

You don't think it does anything until one runs out - my dog has worn one since 9 months old, and he's now nine years.
