    If you love Leonard Cohen's hits

    In his way, Leonard Cohen is an enigma. His songs don't have much vocal or orchestral range. On casual listen, you might say they all sound alike. Then you hear songs like "Hallelujah" and "Marianne" and "Then We'll Take Manhattan" and realize the poetry, beauty and, most important, the passion behind his songs. I know lots of people hate "best of" albums but, for me, this 2 CD set is perfect. It has all but one or two of my favorite songs; it spans nearly all his career from deep voice to REALLY deep voice; and it has songs I don't know (which reminds me why I don't need to have all his albums). If you're patient, you can get this CD on eBay for less than $8, and that's a fine value, in my opinion.

    Uniquely Cohen

    I wasn't sure what to think of this, at first, because it is out of the ordinary. Cohen has a unique style....but it has grown on me. It was recommended to me by a friend and, for what i paid for it, I would say I'm happy with my purchase. You definitely have to be in the right mood, though.
