Another PIXAR success!
What a heart-warming film that the whole family can enjoy together (mostly because it's about family)! I never thought Pixar could outdo themselves after they did UP, but this one certainly does. The story line is entertaining and follows a young boy's story as he learns about his ancestors and the effect they have had on his living family he knows. It ties in the Mexican tradition of honoring ancestors during their annual Dies del Morte (Day of the Dead)kin which they believe the spirits of the dead return for one night to spend time with the living and make sure all is well with them. Even school-age children will enjoy the music, the action, and the very colorful imagery. This is one definitely worth the watching!
