    How nice to be decent!

    No good for you if you seek sex, vulgarity, foul language or gratuitous violence........thankfully! If you prefer subtlety, simplicity and role playing actors, go for it. Beautifully entertaining in a lovely straightforward mould and your children could watch it too. It is no blockbuster but it is relaxing and an excellent reflection on some of the characteristics that go to make up real life. Lovely and simple.

    Simply, one of the best films of all time. Unmissable.

    Superb entertainment throughout, one of my favourite films of all time. The cast is genuinely stellar with the incomparable Alec Guinness and legendary Peter Sellers along with his 'Pink Panther' nemesis Herbert Lom, the quinessential Englishman of the era, Cecil Parker. They simply don't make films as good as this anymore. Brilliantly directed, the humour is timeless and the plot wonderfully engaging - if you have not seen it, spoil yourself this Christmas!
