    Very nice, but ANC needs to be turned on for full sound quality

    The sound is great, and I am quite fussy. A good, natural sound. NB: Some of the quality is only present when the noice cancellation circuitry is on. That's fine for me but if you wanted to use the headphones without noise cancellation, the sound quality would be perfectly adequate but not great. Worth bearing in mind if that's important to you.

    Very good and compact. Bose noise cancelling is superior to most. This model also works without battery (obviously without noise cancelling) that’s why I picked it over the older model I used to have. High quality.

    Excellent fit and sound.

    Excellent fit and sound, plus neat case. The only issue is that the ear pads seem to need replacing more often than others but not a great expense. I suppose this may be because they are soft to make such a good fit, so no extraneous noise and little leakage. I would buy again.
