    Love Revisited

    Maggie Smith and Judy Dench deliver very emotionally engaging roles and you feel and see the sadness building as well as the joy. It has its ups and downs but ends well. I think it is a real English inevitable drama that begins with a near tragedy and ends with a dramatic but uplifting crescendo. I loved this film, it saddened me for a bit but gave me much to think about. Youth and age play an integral part of this story. You are taken to a time more innocent and unassuming. I would watch this again. Would like to have it on Blu Ray as well but it wasn't made on Blu Ray.

    Whew! Got it!

    I must say that AT FIRST I hated the film...it had a voice that kept describing what was going on...then one day when I decided to take a look at it again I saw that there was a choice given, at the very first of the film, that offered the "voice', or not to voice...I apparently did not click onto it, so, this time I did and all turned out to be WELL. The film was wonderful!!! I manage to se it at least once every week...great story line, fantastic actors..........YAY!!!

    Loved this movie.

    My friend in England told me to watch out for this movie. Wasn't on Nexfic or Acorn as probably too old so purchased it at a very good price from Ebay. Arrived very swiftly. It is soooo very British set in Cornwall which evoked many memories ~ with the two most wonderful actresses alive today. Very moving, happy and sad. I cried and clapped. I am now passing it along to my sister.
