    Very good value for the money

    If you want quality output at 1200 dpi, this is the printer to use. Laser printers 20 years ago were capable of 300 dpi, some years later, 600 dpi. For the high-end professional, extremely expensive Linotype equipment could deliver 1200 dpi. Now that resolution is available for the home user at a fraction of the previous cost. For the ability to reproduce the fine curves and serifs of an elegant typeface, even at extremely small size, like 6pt or lower, you need a 1200 dpi printer like this.

    Fine little printer

    This replaced a workshorse LJ5M which was reliable but very slow (15 minutes to render a page sometimes), so when the 5M decided to leak toner everywhere, I chucked it out and replaced it with this. So far, it's been excellent, fast, good print, duplexer works well, easy to set up. Hope it lasts as long as the 5M!

    Good quality printer

    This printer is compact simple to set up and prints on both sides of the page at up to 33 pages per minute.Cartridge refills are also cheap. For a small office or home usage this printer is ideal and should be durable.
